The next phase of the war along the southern border of Lebanon is set to begin shortly, Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said on Monday. 

“This will be a significant factor in changing the security situation and will allow us to complete the important [mission] of returning residents to their homes,” Gallant said while speaking with the heads of councils of northern border communities.

Two American newspapers have reported that the Israeli Defense Forces have already begun ground raids, which may be preparations for a larger ground operation.
