"Trump could be crucial. This is the most important thing for us. He, his qualities – they are there. He could be crucial in this war. He is able to stop Putin, or to be more fair, to help us stop Putin. He can do it" - Zelenskyy stated. 

The president recalled that he had already had several conversations with Trump.

"I think he is strong and unpredictable. I would like to see Trump's unpredictability primarily in dealing with Russia. I think he wants to end the war. I think that's true" - he added.
