According to Russia's Foreign Minister, the decision made in 2008 regarding the so-called independence of South Ossetia is not subject to review.

Sergey Lavrov made this statement during a meeting with the so-called Foreign Minister of the occupation regime.

"We will continue to assist our friends in matters of security, socio-economic development, and other areas in order to strengthen the state's stability, as outlined in our bilateral agreements. Our path only moves forward, and there is no need to reconsider the decision made in 2008," Lavrov stated.

Lavrov thanked the representative of the puppet regime for their "firm stance on the issue of the special military operation."

During the meeting, Russia's Foreign Minister also spoke about occupied Abkhazia: "We are actively cooperating with our Abkhaz partners within the framework of the consultations that took place in Geneva."

Today, Lavrov is also scheduled to meet with the so-called Foreign Minister of the puppet regime of occupied Abkhazia, Sergey Shamba.
