"The interests are temporary; they change along with the situation. After the elections and the war in Ukraine are over, a reset in relations will begin. We know exactly what and how we need to arrange," said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, during a briefing.

"We need to come to terms with everyone, including the global war party," he added.

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze attributes the cancellation of his invitation to the U.S. to the influence of the global war party.

"As for the dinner, the handshake, or the participation – all delegations were invited, 200 countries in total. Out of these 200, how many are authoritarian? Roughly half are either self-declared or recognized as autocracies and they were invited. So where is the logic in this? The only logic is that, once again, the global war party's hand is involved in everything," Kobakhidze stated.

On September 25, the U.S. Embassy in Georgia confirmed reports that the Biden administration had revoked the invitation extended to Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze for the traditional reception of world leaders and senior UN officials and had declined all meetings with the Georgian delegation.
