In response to the new campaign of the "Georgian Dream" leaders, stating that if the Republican candidate wins the American presidential elections, the United State's attitude towards the Georgian current government will change, the leader of the "For Georgia" party, Giorgi Gakharia, responded by noting that the "Republican" administration would be the "harshest" for the "Georgian Dream."

"On the topic of the American elections and the potential outcomes under each party's administration, analysts have been discussing and openly expressing their advice and preferences, analyzing the possible scenarios. When state officials openly declare their stance and claim that a specific outcome will benefit them, they demonstrate a lack of understanding of how foreign policy operates at the international level. This is a clear example of their incompetence. The "Georgian Dream" seems unaware of the potential consequences of their actions. Sending the Georgian ambassador or politicians to American political party meetings is simply laughable. It reflects a desperate attempt by the "Georgian Dream" to establish a normal relationship with the anticipated administration of the United States. The truth is that the "Republican" administration would be harsh for the "Georgian Dream." It would be an administration that would not tolerate the "Georgian Dream" in any way, as there would be no role for them to play. By that time, if this happens, the "Georgian Dream" would be in opposition, not in the government. "Democratic administrations have historically taken a much softer approach in transitioning democratic countries like Georgia," stated the leader of the "For Georgia" party in a recent interview.
