The leader of the "For Georgia" party, Giorgi Gakharia, spoke about the systemic corruption in the country and noted that instead of fighting corruption, the current government "encourages it in order to gain more loyalty, and it intends to gain loyalty for the elections."

"A lot of things are on the surface - Bidzina Ivanishvili is a very experienced and intelligent person and knows very well that the "Georgian Dream" has already been defeated, and understanding and perceiving this will be the hardest and most painful. Therefore, he will try in every way to correct the situation. He sees that apart from it, nothing works institutionally in the country, the state is dysfunctional and without it, it is superfluous to talk about winning the elections. Who should win this election?! Those politicians who don't even pay attention to what they are talking about, or those politicians who serve the party, or the same Ivanishvili, and not the state? Add to all this the forms of corruption that have become visible in everyday life. Everyone should understand that in this country, in a poor country, corruption is not a crime, but a betrayal. When you have 170,000 socially vulnerable families in the country, which is more than 650,000 people, and you dare not do your job dishonestly, but simply touch the daily income of these people and take it home so that your family can be well, what? Of course, this is treason."

The leader of the "Georgia" party also spoke about how he plans to fight corruption and investigate the cases related to this issue. In particular, according to him, it should not be about revenge.

"Unjustified enrichment is the dimension that obligates a person to explain where they accumulated this property, but if they cannot explain, it should become the subject of an investigation. However, it should not be about revenge. For a person who cannot justify and confess, there are different forms of amnesty. This is not a unique event; similar cases have occurred in many places", - Said Giorgi Gakharia.
