The former Prime Minister of Georgia and currently the Chairman of the ruling party "Georgian Dream," Irakli Gharibashvili, while talking to the media, noted that in the 2024 parliamentary elections, the team "needs mobilization, and the party needs to achieve a constitutional majority" because, according to him, "the agency is responsible for the destruction of the country and the opportunity should not be given again".
"These elections are very important for our country. Today there is stability and peace in the country. We have maintained peace, stability, and strong, rapid economic growth, although the risks that existed before and last year — I mean the challenges related to security and our country getting involved in the war and bringing the second front here — these risks did not disappear. "Georgian Dream" and the founder of our party, Bidzina Ivanishvili, brought peace, stability, development, and real democracy. We remember well what the situation was in 2012. Our country and people will never go back to the terror and misery that the agency instilled in our country. The people saw what trouble was brought to them by the government that was a conduit for the interests of foreign countries and betrayed the Georgian people. The country was actually destroyed, so we will not allow anyone to destroy our country again. That's why these elections are important, that's why we need to mobilize our party. Proportional elections are held electronically for the first time, and there will be no second rounds. Therefore, it is necessary for our party to achieve a constitutional majority. This is our goal and main message," - the Chairman of the "Georgian Dream" party said.
