During the Munich Security Conference, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia darchiashvili held a meeting with Damon Wilson, the director of the National Endowment for Democracy. According to the ministry, "The discussion during the meeting covered topics such as the geopolitical landscape in the area, Georgia's progress towards European integration, and the expanding regional significance of Georgia within this framework".
In a post published on the social media network X, the director of the National Endowment for Democracy, Damon Wilson, responded to the information shared on the page of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and noted "With ellections in October, Georgia has an opportunity to demonstrate its place in the free world".
