The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has published the 2023 border crossing report, which indicates that 1,856,237 visitors entered from the Russian Federation. This figure for 2023 is 397 thousand (27%) higher than the data from 2022. According to the same report, Turkey is in second place, with 1,577,439 citizens crossing the border of Georgia, marking a 53% increase compared to the data from 2022.
