In Paris, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is visiting the French capital to attend the opening ceremony of the Cathedral of Notre Dame.

President Zourabishvili posted on Platform X, expressing her gratitude to President Zelensky for his steadfast and unwavering support of the Georgian people.

"Thank you, President Zelensky for your steadfast and unwavering support for the Georgian people Our nations’ fight for independence, freedom, and a European future will prevail - there is no alternative," Salome Zourabichvili stated.

Ukrainian media reports indicate that President Zelensky will hold face-to-face meetings in Paris with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, as well as French President Emmanuel Macron and other European leaders.

Notre Dame Cathedral, an iconic symbol of Paris and France, is set to reopen after extensive restoration following the severe damage caused by a fire in 2019.
