The international organization Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has released information indicating that during the parliamentary elections on October 26, Alexander Malkevich, a Russian propagandist wanted by the US and associated with the Wagner Group, was in Georgia.
The organization’s research shows that after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Malkevich established propaganda media outlets in the occupied territories, which spread the Kremlin’s narrative and portrayed the Russian occupation of Ukrainian territories as "liberation."
He also actively encourages the population to join the Russian armed forces.
It is worth noting that the US State Department has offered a reward of $10 million for information leading to Malkevich’s location. He is accused of interfering in election results.
