Preliminary results from 2,137 polling stations, as reported by the Central Election Commission, indicate that the Georgian Dream party secured 52.943% of the votes in the parliamentary elections.
The Coalition for Changes followed with 11.197%, while the United National Movement garnered 9.797%. In addition, Strong Georgia received support from 9.056% of voters, and Gakharia-For Georgia accounted for 8.264%.
At a press conference, CEC spokesperson Natia Ioseliani announced that the current voter turnout stands at 2,060,412. She emphasized that this figure is not final, as data from five polling stations has yet to be collected.
"Currently, voter turnout across Georgia is 2,060,412, representing 58.94% of the total electorate. This figure is not conclusive, as we are still waiting for information from five polling stations located in mountainous areas," Natia Ioseliani stated.
