In an interview with Globalnews.ge, European Parliament member Andrews Kubilius stated that the 50 billion euros approved to Ukraine by the European Union are important not only for the protection of Ukraine's security and principles, but also for those of Europe as a whole. He emphasized that strong political, financial, and military support for Kyiv will continue in the future.

"It is clear to everyone that Ukraine is not only fighting against Russian aggression, but also for the freedom and values that each of us holds dear. Therefore, the EU's assistance is necessary not only for Kyiv, but also for the protection of our security and principles. We understand this very well, and we recognize the need to provide more help and support, both in terms of financial aid and the supply of military equipment. Ukraine must achieve victory, and we must be even more ambitious in our support. Unfortunately, the aid we have provided to Ukraine so far has not been sufficient when we consider the scale of the challenge. This is why a 50 billion euro aid fund was created, and we should maintain this level of support in the future," said the member of the European Parliament.
