The US State Department says the allegations that Washington is trying to discredit the ruling party in Georgia are completely false. According to spokesman Matthew Miller this is not the first time that Moscow makes such statements not only about Georgia, but also about other countries.

„It’s completely false and it’s quite obvious that it’s completely false. It’s not the first time that Russia has made the allegations like that with respect to US involvement in Georgia and other countries around the world that have been completely false and absurd. And I would just point out the irony of Russia illegally occupying 20% of Georgian territory as we speak making those absurd allegations about another country“, - Matthew Miller said.

According to the information spread by the Russian Intelligence Service yesterday, "the American curators have already given the order to the opposition forces in Georgia to start planning violent protests prior to the elections".
