In an interview with globalnews.ge, philosopher Zaza Firalishvili, who was among the first to join the circle of Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder of "Georgian Dream," in 2012, and was also one of the first to depart from the team after the 2012 elections, stated that the former prime minister of Georgia has reentered politics to fortify his political influence.

"Bidzina Ivanishvili is fond of power and possesses great willpower. Gradually, he assembled compliant and unremarkable individuals around him, sidelining anyone who embodied inner freedom and a distinct concept. He is currently striving to reclaim his former influence, which is how I interpret his return to politics. I doubt that Bidzina Ivanishvili's reentry into politics will significantly alter the situation or garner additional votes for "Georgian Dream," unless a substantial amount of money is spent".

Philosopher Zaza Firalishvili anticipates that the former prime minister of Georgia, upon resuming his political role, "will primarily enact personnel changes and reassume the control".

"Bidzina Ivanishvili is an entirely pragmatic individual. He does not contemplate in terms of ideas and ideologies, but strictly in pragmatic terms—what he needs in a given situation, and that's why he will pursue it. Now security is an important factor for Bidzina Ivanishvili; after all, his business world is in danger due to potential sanctions, and much is at stake. He is facing challenges from Russia, where he built his vast empire, as well as from the West, which could potentially seize his assets. In this scenario, politics cannot merely serve as a shield. The current situation allows him to maneuver and adjust policies to ensure his safety," stated philosopher Zaza Firalshvili in an interview with journalist Keti Fartskhaladze.
