Lithuania has released a list of high-ranking officials from the Georgian government and individuals linked to the Georgian Dream party who are facing sanctions and prohibited from entering the country.
According to the Lithuanian Migration Service website, the list comprises members of the Georgian Parliament, police officers, judges, and representatives from government-affiliated media outlets.
Included among those banned are Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Honorary Chairman of Georgian Dream; Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze; Kakha Kaladze; Mamuka Mdinaradze; Tea Tsulukiani; Vakhtang Gomelauri; and Irakli Rukhadze—a total of 102 Georgian citizens associated with the ruling party.
The news about these sanctions first emerged on March 3, when Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia collectively barred numerous representatives of the Georgian Dream party from entering their territories.
