"Today, three years after the beginning of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, Georgia and the Georgian people stand with Ukraine," stated Salome Zourabichvili, the fifth President of Georgia.

"When we talk about peace, the most important thing is that for the victims of this war—who have been fighting for so many days, as Ukrainians fight for their territory, their freedom, and their independence—peace must be just, because otherwise, there will be no lasting peace," Zourabichvili said.

According to her, "Peace must be achieved together with Ukraine, with the participation of Ukrainians and Europeans, who are also concerned about their freedom and future."

"At this crucial moment, Georgia stands by your side. Georgia wishes you a peace that will be lasting and for all of Europe. We know that we are fighting the same battle. The war against us is hybrid in nature, but it is still a war, and we, together with everyone else, deserve just and lasting peace in a free and independent Europe," Zourabichvili emphasized.
