In an interview with globalnews.ge, the opposition deputy of the Ukrainian Rada, Aleksei Goncharenko, said, "the situation in Ukraine is really difficult; Russia is still fighting intensively on the front line, and Ukraine needs more resources for defense." According to him, under these conditions, the question of allocating aid to Ukraine in the West should be resolved quickly.

"The discussion that is ongoing in the United States and also in Europe should be resolved soon because it is vital for Ukraine. This is not only the struggle of Ukraine; this situation should be evaluated from a broader perspective because Russia is trying to play a big game and outweigh the efforts of the West. That's why we need to ring the alarm bells to avoid a serious scenario - Putin will not give up if he doesn't see our unanimity," said the Ukrainian MP in the interview.

When asked about what the small group of skeptics, who have doubts about the continuation of funding for Ukraine, would answer in the light of the strong support of the West, MP Goncharenko responded that everyone should look at the war in Ukraine from a broad spectrum, and the civilized world should not give up in the fight against Russia.

"Today, Ukraine is defending itself not only because we have the courage to resist Russia but also because there is simply no other way. We cannot surrender our country to those who are organizing genocide. We cannot give up, and neither should the civilized world. "It is a fact that the frontline fight with Russia has become more difficult. Economically, they are no longer afraid of sanctions, and they have found rather cunning ways to avoid them. So, they have become more and more bold, and now they will definitely not stop without appropriate resistance," noted Ukrainian MP Aleksei Goncharenko.
